Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Is this a sculpture or a wall-hanging? Could you please add a clearer in-game screenshot of the picture frame on a surface or on a wall so we have a better idea of its size and how it looks in game? Thanks.

Yes it is available to recolor, the texture is part transparent so you may need to export the alpha chanel too.
